Frederick Walter Kitchener, British soldier, c1900. Kitchener (1859-1912), the younger brother of Field Marshal Earl Kitchener of Khartoum, served as a Major-General during the Boer War. Promoted to Lieutenant General, he served as Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda from 1908-1912.
