Daisy border, c1445, (1843). Design after a manuscript page in The Shrewsbury Book, a play on the name of Margaret of Anjou, (marguerite means daisy in French). The book was commissioned by John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, and presented to Margaret of Anjou, wife of King Henry VI.
