'The days seemed very long and dreary to the two little boys', c1483, (1905). Edward V and his brother Richard of Shrewsbury were almost certainly murdered in the Tower of London, probably on the orders of Richard III. Illustration from Our Island Story by H E Marshall, published by T C & E C Jack Ltd, (London and Edinburgh, 1905). The book gave a very biased and pro-British view of history.
