There is no fire in the grate, nor food on the table. His working tools lie idle on the floor under a notice of the bricklayers' demands. A union official, stout, florid and well-dressed, finds it easy to instruct the bricklayer to remain on strike, and not to give in, Want to go to work, do yer? Goin' to give in, are yer?
