Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence, 1885. The eldest son of Edward, Prince of Wales (later Edward VII), Albert (1864-1892) was known to his family as Eddy. He died of pneumonia in 1892 and his brother George became first in line to the throne in the event of his father's death. Tinted lithograph published to mark his 21st birthday.
