Cassandra, legendary Trojan princess and prophetess, delivering a prophecy. The daughter of Priam and Hecuba, Cassandra was given the gift of seeing into the future by the god Apollo. She rejected his advances however, and in response he ensured that nobody would ever believed her (usually true) prophecies. As a result Cassandra's predictions concerning the fall of Troy went unheeded.
