Pyramids at Giza, Egypt, 4th Dynasty, Old Kingdom, 26th century BC (1801). In the foreground is the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren), 4th king of 4th dynasty. In the background is the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), Khafre's father. The latter is the only surviving one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
