The falcon-headed god Horus weighing the heart of the dead in a balance, Ancient Egyptian, 18th Dynasty, c1419-1380 BC. From the Tomb of Menna, one of the Tombs of the Nobles on the west bank of the Nile at Thebes (Luxor). Menna was a scribe to the pharaohs Tuthmosis IV and Amenhotep III.
