Air Raid Precautions, cigarette card, British, 1938. Anti-Aircraft Searchlight which was operated by a detachment of 10 men. An electric arc lamp with range of 5 miles, it was used in conjunction with anti-aircraft guns to bring down enemy aircraft. One of a set of 50 cards issued by WD & HO Wills in preparation for the anticipated coming of World War II.
