Siege of a town led by Godefroy de Bouillon, c1099, (14th century). Siege during the 1st Crusade (1095-099), showing Saracens firing arrows at Crusaders as they attempt to scale the walls with ladders under cover of their own longbowmen. Godfrey de Bouillon (c1060-1100) led the 1st Crusade which captured Jerusalem in 1099. He was elected the first king of Jerusalem.
