Remains of a Roman sanctuary, Via Torre Argentina, Rome. This complex at Largo Argentina, containing four temples, was only excavated during the 20th century. The buildings date from the 3rd century BC, and it is thought that Julius Caesar was assassinated near the site in 44 BC.
