'The Adoration of the Kings', c1470. The three Kings from the East, Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar, present their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrhh to the infant Jesus. On the far right the shepherds are entering carrying their bagpipes and crooks. In the left foreground is a dwarf among the retinue of the kings. The Virgin, the Child, the king kissing Jesus' foot and some of the figures behind the king are by Filippino Lippi, the remainder is attributed to Botticelli. From the National Gallery, London.
