Hagia Sophia, Istanbul (Constantinople), Turkey, 1980s. Byzantine Cathedral with a domed basilica built in 530-537 under the direction of Justinian I. The architects were Anthemius of Tralles and Isidore of Miletus. Over the centuries it has served as Mosque as well as a Church, and today is a museum. View from the outside.
