Jane Seymour, third wife of Henry VIII, c 1536, (19th century?). Later engraving of Jane Seymour (1509-1537), the third wife of King Henry VIII, was queen for less than two years. She died of puerperal fever, twelve days after giving birth to Henry's longed-for son, who later became Edward VI.
