Jack Cade, English rebel of Irish extraction, 1450 (19th century). Cade (d1450) was leader of the Kentish Rebellion during the reign of Henry VI. He declared himself Lord of London, holding the city for about 2 days. Cade was killed in Sussex attempting to escape to the coast.
