Cholera, 1912. Death, the grim reaper, decimating a column of Turkish soldiers During the First Balkan War (1912-1913) between Turkey and the Balkan League (Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Montenegro), the Turkish army was ravaged by a cholera epidemic, which caused 100 deaths a day.
