'Design for a proposed New Opera House in Leicester Square', c1790. Classical building with pillars and a balcony above, facing an equestrian statue in a square with trees, surrounded by railings. This building was proposed by Robert Bray O'Reily, who purchased the land in 1790, and Giovanni Gallini, the mortgagee of the Haymarket Opera House that burned down on 17th June, 1789.
