'Covent Garden Piazza and Market', c1775. View looking west towards the church of St Paul's, Covent Garden. At night, the area attracted patrons of theatres, coffee houses, taverns and brothels. Covent Garden is still famous today for its Opera House, Coliseum and many of London's theatres.
