Lamp in the form of a human foot, Roman, mid-2nd century. Terracotta oil lamp in the shape of a foot complete with leather sandal. The wick would have burnt in the hole in the big toe; the smole hole in the ankle would have been used to refill the lamp with olive oil. It was found at Borough High Street, Southwark, during the digging of London's Jubilee Line extension.
