Bronze head of the Emperor Hadrian, Roman, (c122 AD?). This bust of the bearded Roman emperor was possibly made to commemorate his visit to London in 122. He was responsible for the construction of Hadrian's Wall, which stretches from the east coast of Britain to the west. Many sections are still intact and can be seen today. This head was found in the River Thames near London Bridge.
