Showing off in Rotten Row, Hyde Park, London, (late 18th century?). A horse rears up as its young rider wields her riding crop and hangs on. This is London's oldest bridle path. Its name derives from route de roi, meaning Kings Road, and so called because the monarchy would hunt deer along this path.
