'The Military Prophet: or A Flight from Providence; Address'd to the Foolish and Guilty, who timidly withdrew themselves on the Alarm of another Earthquake, April 1750'. A crowded street full of people and carriages presumably fleeing the earthquake they believe to be imminent. A woman sells printed sheets of 'The Life Guard man's Prophecy'. The poem below criticises those who would run away.
