'Don Quixote Seizes the Barber's Bason for Mambrino's Helmet', mid 18th century. Don Quixote threatens the frightened barber with his lance. The basin lies at the feet of the barber. It is just an ordinary basin but Don Quixote has mistaken it for the legendary helmet of the knight Mambrino.
