A meeting at Caxton Hall prior to the 'Rush the House of Commons' demonstration, October 1908. Senior WSPU figures address the meeting. At the desk are Mabel Tuke and Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence (left), and Sylvia Pankhurst (right). Emmeline and Christabel Pankhurst and 'General' Drummond were arrested and charged with conspiracy to incite the crowd to 'rush the House of Commons'.
