The Women's Exhibition, May 1909. Everyone is standing quietly listening to a speech made by one of the different women who opened the exhibition every day. One day it was Her Highness the Ranee of Sarawak, Malaysia. The stalls displayed various items such as postcards, art and needlework, flowers and farm produce. The event was held at the Princes' skating rink, Knightsbridge, London.
