1949 Morris Minor. An early Morris with split windscreen and no wing mirrors. Alex Issigonis' Morris Minor is now a legend and a collectors' cult. This was Morris' first post-Second World War design and it created a sensation at the 1948 Motor Show. It set a new standard of handling in the field of small family transportation. Early examples had the split windscreen, headlamps set low into the wings, and the old sidevalve Morris 8 engine (in production since 1935).
