Carlos Reutemann, c1972-c1982. Argentinian Grand Prix driver Reutemann first entered Formula 1 in 1972, securing pole position in qualifying for his first race. His first victory came in South Africa two years later, the first of twelve in a career which ended when he abruptly decided to retire two races into the 1982 season. He subsequently went on to a career in politics in Argentina
