Juan Manuel Fangio at the wheel of a V16 BRM, (1960s?). The picture was taken at a lunch for former Grand Prix drivers hosted by Raymond Mays, Founder of BRM, at Eastgate House, Bourne, Lincolnshire. Mays is in the right foreground, looking towards the camera. Fangio won a then record 24 Grands Prix, driving for Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Ferrari and won the World Drivers' Championship in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956 and 1957, a record which remains unequalled.
