Matra-Simca 670 leading a Lola T280, Le Mans, France, 1972. The Matra of Francois Cevert and Howden Ganley leads the Lola of Joakim Bonnier, Gerard Larrousse and Gijs van Lennep down the hill from the Dunlop Bridge. In third place is the Matra of Henri Pescarolo and Graham Hill, the eventual winners ahead of Cevert and Ganley. The Lola was involved in a crash later in the race, in which Bonnier was killed.
