1907 Argyll car, (c1907?). The sign in the background suggests the car may be in Bridgewater, Somerset. Scotland's best-known car manufacturer produced a wide range of models. They were early pioneers of front wheel braking and were at one time the biggest manufacturer in Europe. The company had gone out of business by 1930.
