A 1934 Riley Falcon in the snow. This exhibit has the pre-selector gearbox, controlled from the steering wheel. Standard equipment included a sliding roof, opening windscreen and self-cancelling trafficators. By the 1930s, Riley had achieved a well-deserved reputation for advanced design and superb craftsmanship. The Falcon offered plenty of width and headroom yet had the same stylish aero-line of the sporting Kestrel. In 1938, Lord Nuffield bought the Riley company.
