Algernon Guinness driving a Minerva in the Circuit des Ardennes, 1907. As the driver takes the bend a cloud of dust rises from the back wheels. The original Circuit des Ardennes only ran for 6 years, the last one being in 1907 when the race moved to Spa and then Francorchamps. Two-thirds of the original 85 km circuit is still intact and the part that isn’t now has a parallel road that cuts through the Anlier forest.
