FW Dixon with a HRD motorbike, 1927. Sitting on his bike smoking a cigarette. Dixon was the winner of the 1927 Junior 350cc race at the Isle of Man TT. HRD bikes were founded by Howard Raymond Davies, who used his initials for the name.
