1931 Brough Superior SS80 de luxe, (c1931?). Brough's Nottingham-built machines were advertised as being the 'Rolls-Royce' of motorcycles. Expensive and powerful, they were mostly handmade, many powered by JAP (JA Prestwich) engines, and some by Matchless. This one, powered by a 4 cam JAP engine, is being ridden by PC Wilfred Pepper of the Nottinghamshire police.
