Henry Erskine, Scottish politician and lawyer, (1870). Erskine (1746-1817) served as Lord Advocate in 1783-1784 and 1806-1807 as well as being advocate and state councillor to the Prince of Wales in Scotland from 1783. An engraving from Robert Chambers' A Biographical Dictionary of Eminent Scotsmen, Blackie and Son, (Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London, 1870).
