A makeshift rifle range at the AA offices at Fanum House, Whitcomb Street, Westminster, 1914. Two rifles rest on a stand, pointing towards an opening in the wall through which are the targets. Above are ropes or wires, possibly a pulley system. The floor is tiled and a row of chairs is on the right. Glass lampshades hang from the ceiling. A company of AA Road Scouts were encouraged to enlist for war service.
