Westminster Hall, Palace of Westminster, London, after 1865. Seen from the corner of Great George Street and Parliament Square. Originally a Norman building, it was rebuilt in the 1390s. It is flanked by the Houses of Parliament, which was designed by Sir Charles Barry, and whose Gothic Revival style is imitated in the park railings to the right.
