Victoria and Albert Museum, Cromwell Road, Kensington, London, 1907. In 1909 new premises for the Museum of Ornamental Art, renamed the Victoria & Albert Museum, were opened in Kensington. Aston Webb won the competition to design the museum, and the foundation stone was laid in 1899.
