Gamages Department Store and the Prudential Building, Holborn, London, 1907. Crowds outside AW Gamage's department store in Holborn on sale day. A W Gamage started a small shop in 1878, and the store closed in 1972. Further along is the Gothic revival Prudential Building, by Alfred Waterhouse in 1879.
