Rising Sun public house, Great Scotland Yard, London, 1884, with windows blown in after a Fenian (Irish Republican) bomb attack. Four men stand outside the building, and a pile of rubble lies in the road in front of a damaged carriage. The design of the building makes extensive use of decorative brickwork, particularly in the window surrounds and the `Dutch' gable with its two rising suns.
