Checking packages at the East India Company Warehouses, Cutler Street, London, c1945-c1965. Three men, including a policeman, checking a box of parcels, and being checked off a list. The original warehouses were built in the late 1700s for the import of tea, at a time when the warehousing of goods by the river was forbidden. The warehouses have now been redeveloped.
