Warehouses at the Wine Gauging Ground, North Quay, London Docks, c1945-c1965. Wine barrels marked `Sandeman' in front of warehouses at the Wine Gauging Ground. The docks opened in 1805 with a monopoly on the wine trade, among others, but were largely built over in the 1970s.
