Projection box at the Odeon, Haverstock Hill, London, c1934; showing a line of projectors. The large fire bucket and the prominent 'no smoking' sign are due to the flammability of contemporary nitrate-based film. The cinema was designed by TP Bennett and Sons and opened in 1934.
