Teapot topiary at Sedlescombe, East Sussex, 1916. Example of a hedge trimmed to the shape of a teapot, near the photographer's own home at Great Dixter. His interest in topiary led to a publication, Garden Craftsmanship in Yew and Box, in which this was described as a cottager's work.
