South loggia at Bramshill House, Hampshire, 1928. Double-arched alcove with carved wooden benches inside, and stags's skulls above. Loggias were fashionable features in the early Jacobean period, when Bramshill was built. This example has decorated columns and strapwork decoration, with the design repeated on the seating.
