Dovecote at Harlyn House, St Merryn, Cornwall, 1954. A pillar dovecote at Harlyn House, St Merryn, probably dating from the 18th century. The birds housed in the cote provided fresh meat and eggs throughout the year. This is a particularly unusual type and possibly unique in Cornwall.
