Lift doors of the Queen's Hotel, Birmingham, West Midlands, 1966. The ornate open-work iron lift doors of the Queen's Hotel, Birmingham. Built in 1854 in a grand Italianate style, the hotel was constructed to serve the needs of the rail passengers arriving at New Street Station.
