Two yachts under sail seen over the reed beds near East Tunstall Mill, Norfolk, 1934. In the fens, wind power was harvested for both milling and drainage. The majority of windpumps were brick built tower mills fitted with fantails and patent sails to reduce the time the marshmen needed to spend working them.
