Pillar Parlour at Bolsover Castle, Derbyshire, 2000. The Star Chamber at Bolsover Castle is the 'Great Chamber' where only family and privileged guests would be allowed for meals or entertainment, while the household ate in the hall. The ceiling has been restored to look as it would have done when first painted in 1618-19.
