Albert Bridge from the Chelsea Embankment, London, c1945-c1965. Albert Bridge, viewed here from the Chelsea Embankment, was built in 1871-1873 by RM Ordish. It is a suspension bridge, supported by two pairs of ornate cast-iron towers. Cadogan Pier can be seen just beyond the bridge, with Chelsea Bridge in the distance.
